Where can we park?

• There is 3 hour parking available on Penn Ave, as well as a metered parking lot, located across the street.​

Can parents of children stay?

• Parents may stay for the party or drop off and pick up. We recommend booking yourself a service in our salon while the party takes place. We have everything under control in the party-space! (As we like to say "Book the party for her, but take a minute for you." 

How many kids can we have?

• We offer 3 packages: 1 for 10 kids, 1 for 15 kids and 1 for 20 kids.

  • Beauty Besties ($1,000 for up to 10 kids - 2 hours)

  • Glam Squad ($1,250 for up to 15 kids - 2 hours)

  • Sparkle Soirée ($1,500 for up to 20 kids - 2 hours)

• The price per booking accounts for the rental time of the space, staff and product.

What age range is recommended for these parties?

• Ages 4-12 are recommended, however, we adjust our product and process accordingly as we understand 4 & 5 year olds enjoy different applications than our preteens. You'll be asked to indicate age range on your intake form.

Can we bring decorations?

• Absolutely! You may arrive 30 minutes prior to your party start time, to set up any balloons, decorations, food or drinks. If you'd like to view the space prior to your event, contact info@mixandmakeup.com to schedule a tour.

What times can we have the party?

• We offer 3 start times. The party can either start at 10AM, 1PM or 4PM. If you need to request a time outside of this, please contact info@mixandmakeup.

Can we bring our own snacks and drinks?

• Yes! However, we do suggest keeping these snacks simple as the kids will be using their hands for application and their lesson takes up a good amount of time. We usually reach a snacking point 1 hour into the party, when switching from makeup to their hairstyling. As we make our way around, the kids will have time to get up grab snacks and work independently on some crafts at their stations. Once all hairstyles are complete, we can make time to sing happy birthday with cake or cupcakes! The remaining time is for the girls to dance to some music, take any fun photos, and play with any other product at their stations.  

Does each kid get to keep items used during the party?

• Yes, when you select your theme, all goodie bag items are theirs to take home, including their outfit, lip gloss, mirrors, glitter gels, beauty blenders and stickers!

Will there be time for gifts and cake?

• Absolutely, please indicate on your intake form if you would like this option.

How is payment handled?

• Non-refundable, 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. Remaining balance is due on your event date at checkout. In the event of cancellation, your deposit may be used for studio credit or transferred to a new date within the same calendar year.
