Where can we park?

There is 3 hr parking available on Penn Ave, as well as a metered parking lot, located across the street.​

Can parents of children stay?
-
Parents may stay for the party or drop off and pick up. We do have somewhat limited space available so parents can of course pop in to take a look from time to time, but are asked to remain in the front suite for the majority of the party to avoid overcrowding in our Artist Studio as we make our way around to guide the children through their application and hairstyling. ​

How many kids can we have?

We offer 2 packages. Either up to 6 (6 for $550) or up to 10 (10 for $750)

The price per booking accounts for the rental time of the space, staff and product.

What age range are these birthdays good for?
-
Ages 4-14 are recommended, however, we adjust our product and process accordingly as we understand 4 & 5 year olds enjoy different applications than our teens. You'll be asked to indicate age range on your intake form.

Can we bring decorations?

Absolutely! You may arrive 30 minutes prior to your party start time, to set up any balloons, decorations, food or drinks. If you'd like to view the space prior to your event, contact info@mixandmakeup.com to schedule a tour.

What times can we have the party?

We offer 2 start times. They can either start at 10am or 2pm, if you need to request a time outside of this, please contact info@mixandmakeup.

Can we bring our own snacks and drinks?
-
Yes! However, we do suggest keeping these snacks simple as the kids will be using their hands for application and their lesson takes up a good amount of time. We usually reach a snacking point 1 hour into the party, when switching from makeup to their hairstyling. As we make our way around the kids will have time to get up grab snacks and work independently on some crafts at their stations. Once all hairstyles are complete we usually sing happy birthday with cake or cupcakes! The remaining time is for the girls to dance to some music, take any fun photos, and play with any other product at their stations.

Does each kid get to keep items used during the party?

Yes, when you select your theme, all goodie bag items are theirs to take home including their outfit, lip gloss, mirrors, glitter gels, beauty blenders and stickers!

Will there be time for gifts and cake?

Absolutely, please indicate on your intake form if you would like this option.

How is payment handled?
-
Non-refundable, 50% deposit is due at the time of booking. Remaining balance is due on your event date at checkout. In the event of cancellation, your deposit may be used for studio credit or transferred to a new date within the same calendar year.
